These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the 100 Talks mobile application and the website 100talks.app (together, the "Services"), operated by 100 Talks ("100Talks", "we", "us"). By downloading the app, creating an account, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. The service

100Talks is a language-learning application that provides 100 translated conversations with native-speaker audio in more than 8 languages. The core service is provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features at any time to improve the Services.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the app. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Services you agree that you will not:

• copy, redistribute, sell, or publicly rebroadcast the conversations, recordings, or translations outside the app;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app;
• use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others;
• interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Services.

4. Intellectual property

All content in the Services — including conversations, audio recordings, translations, the 100Talks name, logo, and design — is owned by or licensed to 100Talks and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your own language learning. No other rights are granted.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Services for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While our conversations are prepared with care, we do not warrant that all content is error-free, and learning outcomes depend on your own practice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 100Talks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services (which, for the free service, is zero).

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Sections 4, 6, and 7 survive termination.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
